Holy Wood Dust

About

Holy Wood Dust is a 2026 documentary directed by Victor Kossakovsky and photographed by Gianmarco Donaggio. Created in collaboration with botanist Stefano Mancuso, the film takes an immersive journey into the world of trees, exploring their extraordinary capacity to perceive, communicate, learn and form connections. Through visionary images and an intricate soundscape, Holy Wood Dust invites us to rethink the relationship between humans and the vegetal world. The film is selected for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (Venice 2026), in the Venice Open – Out of Competition section.
